Ronald E. Stahlheber

	Ronald E. Stahlheber, age 75, of Loves Park, Ill., passed away November 19, 2000 at the Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford.
	Roland was born in Pinckneyville on August 18, 1925, the son of Rudolph and Myrtle (Quigley) Stahlheber.  He was united in marriage to Leta Niedermeier on July 29, 1964 and she preceded him in death on February 11, 1997.  Roland retired in 1986 as a machinist for Twin Disc of Rockford where he had resided since  was a WW II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy on Tulagi, near Guadalcanal.  He also loved fishing and refinishing furniture.
	Roland is survived by two brothers, Earl Stahlheber of Dongola and Delbert Stahlheber of Rochelle; two sisters, Marjorie Eileen Schickendanz and Eunice Reith, both of Pinckneyville and a step-son, Russ Lovaas of LeClaire, Iowa.  he was preceded in death by his parents, wife and five brothers, Thurlow, Rudolph, Rupert, Paul and Neil.
	A family memorial service was planned with interment in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville was in charge of local arrangements.
